The Danbury High School graduation ceremony is scheduled for Friday June 19th at 5:00.
The rain date is Saturday June 20 at 3:00.

The School Based Health Center (SBHC) will be offering free Sports Physicals throughout the month of JULY!

By appointment ONLY

Two forms must be filled out and signed by students' parent or guardian:

1. the yellow SBHC permission form
2. the sports pre-participation form

Advise your students to stop by the SBHC or call 790-2886 for an appointment. Spaces will fill up quickly, so act today!

INVITE PEER LEADERS '10 TO THIS GROUP BECAUSE I DON'T KNOW ALL OF THEM. THANKS ♥

Hiiiii. So, not only is this our community change project, but it's also an event that involves the school, principal, staff, etc..it's a big deal and it's legit, and your attendance (ESPECIALLY peer leaders '10) is mandatory.

There will be a meeting on Monday, June 15th right after school (2:05?pm). Listen to the announcements for the location of this little meeting because we're still working it out. The meeting, SHORT meeting, will just be a quick run down on what to expect, what to do, wear, etc, just to give you a heads up before the actual orientation.

You'll hear this at the meeting, but just so it's on "paper":
Tuesday, June 16th - Broadview
Wednesday, June 17th - Rogers Park
Arrive at the cafeteria/courtyard area RIGHT after exams (11:45 LATEST) to help set up and hear instructions. The orientation will finish at 1:30pm, expect to stay an extra 15 minutes to help clean up. Again, all of this will be explained at our little meeting on Monday, June 15th.

Why is this mandatory? Ask Frese and Fay. We think it's because..well..... just consider this your first of many obligations as DHS' Peer Leaders. It's two hours after school for two days...not a big deal. and, some would say it's relatively fun.

Family and friends night at armando’s

DECA is hosting a Family and Friends Night at Armando’s Restaurant on Route 6 in Bethel this Monday, April 6th from 5-8:30 pm. A portion of the proceeds will go to the DHS DECA club. Reservations are recommended.



There will also be a Silent Auction that evening, with opportunities to bid on items such as a month’s membership of racquetball, wine, a gift certificate for a manicure, and other baskets. So please take your family and friends out to eat at Armando’s this Monday and support our DECA program.
